…380 students graduate, as Kevin Ojomah emerge overall best

Tansian University Umunya, Anambra state, on Saturday honoured the traditional ruler of Ogidi kingdom, HRM Igwe Pharmacist Alexander Onyido ( Ezechuamagha), Prince
Nickolas Ukachukwu and Tunde Johnson for their outstanding contributions to the development of education in Nigeria.

380 students bagged their first and post graduate degrees of the institution during the 13th convocation ceremony held at the school event center.

The event attracted people from all walks of life including politicians like Prince Nicholas Ukachukwu, Ebuka Okonkwo, Osita Omenugha who represented the Vice Chancellor, Chukwuemeka Odumegwu Ojukwu University, Prof.Kate Azuka Omenugha, Innocent Ojike, Clem Chukwuka amongst other education lovers and personalities in Nigeria.

In his address, the Vice Chancellor, Professor Eugene Okoye Nwadialor reminded the graduating students that convocation is not just an end but a launching pad for a future defined by possibilities.

He urged them to be good ambassadors of their Alma mater as he looks forward to witnessing the
remarkable achievements they will accomplish in the years
ahead.

“Tansian University is making an impact, breaking barriers, and championing Excellence
without borders.

Prof Nwadialor however pleaded for support from the alumni and the good spirited individuals that will enable them raise infrastructure that will make the citadel of learning conducive for teaching and learning.

“Your support, whether through endowments, grants
scholarships, infrastructural development, or research
funding can be the catalyst that transforms lives and secures the future of education at Tansian University.

“By partnering with us, you become part of a noble vision to
rise a new generation of scholars, innovators, and leaders
who will shape Nigeria and the world.

“Every contribution, no
matter the size, is a powerful investment in the future. One
that will yield immeasurable rewards for generations to
come. Let us work
together to build a legacy of knowledge, excellence, and
impact. With your support, Tansian University will continue
to stand as a beacon of learning and innovation, breaking barriers and redefining education beyond borders.

He formerly announced Mr. Kelvin Ojonubah
Ojomah from the department of Microbiology as the overall Best Graduating Student. He graduated with Cumulative Grade Point Average of
(FCGPA) of 4.90/5.00.

The Vice Chancellor further informed that the 13th convocation ceremony featured the graduation of the first set of post graduate candidates of the institution.

“We are proud to celebrate another historic milestone, the graduation of our first set of Master’s and
PGD Degree candidates. This achievement is a testament to Tansian University’s unwavering commitment to academic
excellence, research advancement, and global impact. It
reinforces our vision of delivering Excellence without borders
and producing graduates who will shape the future across
various fields.

“It is with immense pride and joy that I announce the results of
our pioneer Nursing students in the recently concluded Nursing Council Examination. I am delighted to inform you that our candidates performed exceptionally well, achieving an Impressive pass rate of over 85%. This remarkable
achievement is a testament to the hard work. dedication, and
healthcare profession.
resilience of our students, as well as the commitment and
expertise of our esteemed faculty members in the department
of Nursing.

On his part, the Pro Chancellor of the institution, Rev Fr. EAC Obiorah in his address reminded the guests that the institution remains faith-based institution, urging then to support the school to achieve their goals while calling on the graduating student to mortgage their life towards Fr Iwene Tansi .

“We are working hard and remain committed to making sure this school grows. We are determined to meet up to global standard. We have promoted research reading culture that brings together town and gown. The school is planing to build new administrative block, chapels, Pharmacy, law faculty among others”
