‘I Will Be The Answer To The Prayers Of Ndi Anambra’ – Val. Ozigbo

Valentine Ozigbo, a leading governorship aspirant in the 2021 Anambra election, has reiterated his commitment to prioritize the basic needs of the people Anambra if elected governor of the state.

He made the pledge on Sunday, January 17, 2021, when he spoke at a town hall meeting of Ogbaru constituency hosted by the member representing Ogbaru Federal Constituency and Minority Leader in the Federal House of Representatives, Honorable Chukwuka Onyema.

In his address to the mammoth crowd at the event, Mr. Ozigbo stated that he was impressed with the wide acceptance accorded to Honourable Onyema for the many laudable projects he had executed in the constituency.

The respected business leader and philanthropist went on to tell the gathering that he was mindful of the numerous requests made by the people, and he plans to be the answers to their prayers if elected as the next governor of the state.

“Peter Obi is someone who came and provided a kind of leadership that has not been seen before. I am coming to follow in his footsteps and, by the grace or God, I will do Anambra proud the same way His Excellency did,” Ozigbo said.

“The state of affairs in Anambra State makes my heart heavy. Places like Ogbaru have been relegated and forgotten.

“I want to assure you that, by the grace of God, I will be the answers to all your prayers regarding construction of roads, hospitals, schools, and other social amenities needed by Ndi Anambra,” Ozigbo added.

The event was graced by a host of dignitaries, including the immediate past Governor of Anambra State and the Vice Presidential candidate of the PDP in the 2019 general election, Peter Obi; the member representing Ogbaru 1 in the Anambra State House of Assembly, Hon. Igwe Noble Nonso; and the member representing Ogbaru 2 constituency in the Anambra State House of Assembly, Sir Somtochukwu Udeze.

Ozigbo was accompanied to the meeting by some top members of his campaign organization, including a former member of the Anambra State House of Assembly, Sir Tim Egboka; a two-time member of the Federal House of Representatives and a former Speaker of the Anambra State House of Representatives, Honourable Eucharia Azodo; and General Manager of the Valentine Chineto Ozigbo (VCO) Foundation, Sir Izuchukwu Oraelosi.
